This is a ten-day festival conducted since 1989 in the memory of noted lyricist Ambujam Krishna, thanks to the generous sponsorship of M/S Sundram Fasteners Limited. Many young musicians have been introduced to the public by the Music Academy through this series.
The Annual Spirit of Youth Festival featuring Music and Dance dedicated tothe memory of Smt. Ambujam Krishna will be held by the Music Academy Madras from 1 st August to 10 th August 2026 (Age Group -18 to 25 years). Those born between 01.08.2001 and 01.08.2008 only can apply.

The applications completed may be sent to the Music Academy. The last date for receipt of completed applications is on or before 30 th April 2026.
